                       YAMAHa XSr 900

Jens von Brock, better known as JvB-moto, is back with a new project called Yart Built. The German preparer received the Best of Show award at the last Café Racer Festival for his CP3, a reimagined Yamaha XSR900.

JvB-moto isn't participating in the Yard Built project yet, with a V-Max Infrared or a Yamaha XSR700 Super 7 in the works. Currently, an XSR900 is in the hands of the preparer: "The most significant retro effect is on the lines and proportions. I'm a big fan of the concept automobiles from the 1960s and 1980s, which gave me a lot of ideas for this character. The motorcycle has a clean, minimalist design that reminds me more of a concept bike than a typical custom motorcycle. I wanted it to be quick without being aggressive, less retro and more minimalist, with a simple and determined design." As a result, a minimalist design has been chosen, influenced by a retro theme that does not go unnoticed.

Those who enjoy carbon fiber wheels, Beringer brake disks, and Termignoni eludes will be in demand, as will those who enjoy various hand gestures modeled after the rear coque with LED rear light. JvB-moto offers a personalization kit that includes the following components (note that some parts are still being developed but will be available in early 2020, allowing for nearly limitless customization options):
