La CF Moto 1250 TR-G

 La CF Moto 1250 TR-G

With the 1250 TR-G, the Chinese manufacturer CF Moto took advantage of the Chinese CIMA Show over a year ago to unveil its first true large-cylinder motorcycle.

Because the machine is powered by a V-Twin LC8 autrichien of 1.279 cm3 capable of delivering a maximum power of 140 chevaux and 120 Nm of torque in this configuration, it also marks the formalization of the partnership with KTM.

Despite being made in China, the CF Moto does not disappoint in terms of performance, as it is equipped with high-end components such as Brembo radial brakes, Marzocchi forks, and Pirelli tires, as well as cutting-edge technology such as an enormous TFT color display with various assistances and even a JBL audio system.

In line of sight of this 1250 TR-G is the European segment reference, the BMW R 1250 RT, as well as the local competitor, the Benelli 1200 GT, while the FJR 1300 has vanished from the Yamaha catalog with Euro5.

While the 1250 TR-G is about to launch on the Chinese market, it has been given a price, and the least that can be said is that CF Moto has chosen to strike hard. In fact, the routière chinoise is priced at 99.980 yuans, or 13.179 euros, and is available in both white and blue.

Although it is obvious that a price like this could not be achieved on the French market if its importer GD France decided to sell it, the difference with the Bavarian route is enormous. In fact, the R 1250 RT, which we sell for 22.740 euros, is now available in China for 285.900 yuans, or 37.685 euros.

With a two-fold lower price, CF Moto's ultra-aggressive positioning could prove to be profitable.
