BMW C 400 GT

BMW has added a GT version to its C 400 X scooter, which was originally designed for urban use. If one considers the abilities of the regular version, which is already ready to leave the city, this is a good idea.

Just as the new C 400 X is being shown to the press for the first time, BMW announces the arrival of a distant cousin with an equestrian background. The new C 400 GT retains all of the features of the "regular" model, but adds features to improve its routing capabilities.

BMW also showcases its C 400 GT "Gran Turismo" model, implying a more routier potential. However, he will not become " pépère " for the time being, and he will keep the C 400 X's dynamic side.

As a result, the BMW C400GT adopts a more enveloping design. The lighting is of the complete led variety. The C 400 GT may be equipped with a 6.5-inch color TFT display as a factory option, similar to what is found on the brand's motorcycles. The C 400 GT comes standard with a more traditional interior, including an auxiliary display that will be added to the arrondi-tours block.

On this screen, you may see all of the information connected to your smartphone, as well as control your audio playlist. Furthermore, this screen allows you to follow BMW Motorrad's simplified GPS navigation.

A remodeled seat and a set of stairwells for the passager

The pilot now has a redesigned seat that provides better lumbar support. The passager inherits the C 400 X's escamotable resting-pieds, which are pre-installed in the plancher. The C 400 GT comes included with the Keyless Ride system, which is a hands-free locking mechanism. The scooter recognizes the pilot-installed transponder and no longer requires the use of a key to start the scooter, open the fuel cap, or access the storage compartment beneath the seat.

The flex case system is included in the case, and it allows you to expand the initial volume via a sturdy soufflet. The table has two storage compartments in the front.

The C 400 GT will be released in the second half of 2019 and will significantly strengthen BMW's scooter lineup.
