 KawasaKi Z 750 R

Kawasaki has lifted the veil on its newest model, the Kawasaki Z750 R, this week. Kawasaki's phare model comes in a sporty version, but it's a good way to hide its flaws.

The Kawasaki Z750 R is a revised, improved, and more sporty version of the company's flagship motorcycle.

The most recent version of the Kawasaki Z750 had a very high bar. Even yet, it's too high for the competition, trailing behind the Kawasaki in terms of sales: more than 40.000 units have been sold in France alone! However, the Kawasaki Z750, as popular as she was, had a few flaws. As a result, the company has decided to discontinue the model. To do so, the Japanese manufacturer devised a simple formula: Kawasaki Z750 - its flaws Plus a sporty side = Kawasaki Z750 R!

Cycle on a new side

The Kawasaki Z750 R is thus a sporty variant, but not the only one. A few new additions have been made. Un nouvel amortisseur réglable plus precisely, une nouvelle fourche inversée de 41mm réglable en détente et précontrainte. The braking system has also been updated, with thicker front brakes and a radial étrier-maître pack.

There will be no changes to the engine.

The retouches are there, starting with the head of fourche, which has a more aggressive aspect. Similarly, the clignotants have been retailed to fit perfectly into the look of this Kawasaki Z750 R. With the griffe R positioned in the center of the speedometer, the board has a more "sporty" tone. The engine is the same as the base model, but the Kawasaki Z750 R should be more dynamic than its big brother.

The only unknown is the price. However, it should logically be higher than that of the Kawasaki Z750, which was sold for less than €8,000.
