 CFMOTO dévoile le trail 800MT

A first model based on KTM's LC8c bicylindre.

799 cc, 94 hp, 77 Nm, KYB suspensions, J.Juan brakes, ABS on the move, speed regulator, driving modes...

Since the spring, we've been talking about it, and this time it's for the forthcoming CFMoto 800 MT. The Chinese company, which already sells a 650 MT, plans to release a new large trail based on the KTM 790 Adventure.

No doubt, the most recent images recovered by our Bennetts anglo-saxon brothers leave no doubt. CFMoto's new 800 MT, which was developed in collaboration with KTM, should soon be available in the brand's dealerships. And it was a KTM 790 Adventure that served as the foundation for this new route, which should propel CFMoto, which had hitherto been focused on small and medium-sized cylinders at a competitive price, into a new market.

CFMoto, which has been producing engines and even complete motorcycles for the Austrian brand for several years, now uses the parallel 800cc bicylindre from the Duke and Adventure models for its own model, as well as the 790 Adventure's chassis, which has been slightly modified, particularly at the level of the swinging arms. Bennetts also revealed that the Chinese version will be heavier than its German counterpart, weighing in at 231 kg (248 kg avec les valises aluminium).
