Expannia présente son premier projet de moto électrique

Expannia Motorcycles is a Miami-based company founded by Spanish designer José Luis Cobos Arteaga. The young start-up has just revealed its first electric motorcycle project: a futuristic concept that could hit the streets as early as 2022.

As we've seen time and time again, Spain is one of the most dynamic countries in terms of electric mobility. It's thus no surprise to see an espagnol designer, José Luis Cobos Arteaga, at the helm of the start-up Expannia Motorcycles, despite the fact that it's based in Miami.

Specialized in electric mobility, the all-new Florida company, which has only been around for a few weeks, has just shown its first electric motorcycle project. Cobos Arteaga, a former designer for the automotive industry (Jaguar, Iveco, and even Ford), has chosen a futuristic design for his first two-wheel prototype.

According to Expannia, the motorcycle might be equipped with an electric motor with a power range of 20 to 25 kW and a 6 kWh battery, giving it a range of 150 kilometers.

Moreover, the first project revealed by Expannia should be quickly followed by a number of electric vehicles, as the Spanish designer's objective is to offer a complete range of electric vehicles.

All of this is subject to one condition: the company must first entice investors before producing and selling the motorcycle at a price of around 15 000 euros.
